Once upon a time there was a lovely girl named Ella who lived with her loving mother and father. Ella’s father would go on trips for months and come back with gifts for her daughter Ella, who loved seeing the gifts her father brought her. One day after putting Ella to sleep, Ella’s mother falls ill. After consulting with a doctor, the mother finds out she doesn’t have much long to live. After speaking to Ella, Ella’s mother reminds her to have courage and be kind to others.

A little while later, Ella’s father asks Ella if he can marry again which Ella happily agrees. The father’s new wife and stepdaughters come to live with him in his house with Ella. Ella’s father once again has to go on one of his long trips again but doesn’t live to come back to Ella. The stepmother starts treating Ella as more of a servant than a daughter, but Ella still follows her mother’s words of having courage and being kind to others. Ella is forced to sleep in the attic where she has to sleep by the cinders in order to keep warm. The next morning, the stepsisters see Ella with her face all covered in soot and ash and come up with the name Cinderella.

The movie has some of the most beautiful sets ever seen. It all takes place in the United Kingdom where all the castles and villages are located. The visuals are all breathtaking and finally seeing the Fairy Godmother and all the transformations of the creatures and pumpkin is something that everyone needs to see. Cinderella’s dress transformation is by far one of the best scenes in the whole movie and really goes to show how well this movie is made.

Even though Cinderella is a movie that’s known by most everybody, this movie still feels like a breath of fresh air and something that hasn’t been seen before. If you had any fondness over the mice in the original 1950 movie, don’t worry as they are in this remake. Words cannot describe how much of a good movie this is, do yourself a favor and take about two hours of your time in order to see this movie in theaters.
