Drama and English teacher, Judith Bridges had auditions for the play, Twelfth Night. Twelfth Night is a 17th century play written by William Shakespeare. It is a classic play focused on the story between two twins, Viola and Sebastian, who are pulled apart during a shipwreck.
Bridges has been working on this play since the beginning of the first semester. Bridges said that she expects “that the kids are going to work hard . . going to be very focused, very disciplined and very creative”.
The play will first be held April 24 in the school’s auditorium and at the grand park in Downtown on May 2nd as well as every Saturday of May at different parks in L.A. Bridges believes that the students chosen will “create an amazing piece of theatrical brilliance and magic.”
The callbacks were the play were held earlier this week and the official cast list will be listed later on this week at her door.
