According to CNN, Noor Salman, the wife of Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen, faces federal charges that include obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting her husband’s support to ISIS. She was arrested in San Francisco on Monday.

Salman was the wife of Omar Mateen, who killed 49 people and injured more than 50 others when he fired at Pulse, a gay nightclub in June last year. It is so far, the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S history.

Some people believe that Salman was involved with her husband’s attack at the nightclub. They believe she took steps to prevent the investigation of the event, even though she knew her husband had done something bad. Others however, believe she had no prior knowledge and deny her involvement in her husband’s crime.

According to Noor Salman herself, she did have knowledge of his plans but denied it at first. She later confessed that she knew of her husband’s intentions to carry out an attack.
Two days before the attack, her husband rushed out of the house with a bag full of guns and she pleaded for him to stay. He didn’t. Authorities grew suspicious of his wife after finding a text sent to her in which he confesses his crime, two hours after the massacre.

Salman is expected to appear in court on Tuesday next week in Oakland.
