Ap Computer Science delves deeply into coding and creating. This month, students taking the rigorous course were tasked with building their own games on the website Code.org the week before Spring break which was on Mar.16.

The game creation required “four screens, with music or sound effects, and to be colorful” said PAM senior Edwin Mazariegos.

Students were given about two weeks to present their final product the second day back from spring break. “Two weeks seemed like a lot of time when the teacher handed out the assignment but because the program required a lot of details, I soon realized it was harder than it looked” said Mazariegos.

Presentations for the project ended on April 1. Many students met the guidelines while some struggled to put music on their game.
