If you thought you were ready for prom you might be missing a few essential details besides your dress.

For a few weeks now the class has decided that this year’s prom theme will be “Royal Ball”. It will be held at the LA Athletic Club in downtown on Friday May 15. However, because many students have already purchased their tickets upon excessive purchases of “The Graduate” from the senior packet, there are only a few prom tickets left to sell because of limited seats.

Tickets will begin selling March 16 and as Ms. Payne said in the mandatory Class of 2015 assembly that was held Feb. 6, “It is first come first serve”. During the first week tickets will be sold for $100 and five dollars will be added with each week that passes by. As you go to purchase your ticket at the student store, Ms. Payne will also be asking where you want to be seated. In that case, if you want to sit next to your friends then prepare to buy your tickets together and as soon as possible. For those who have already purchased their tickets in the packet, Ms. Payne will be using these few weeks to call in those students and allow them to pick where they want to be seated since they have already purchased them. “Prom is a beautiful memory, everyone should go,” she said. Buy tickets quick because last year they were only sold for two weeks and not many students were happy about it.
