The SAT is the college placement exam for many schools around the world. It tests the skill of students in three sections: Math, Critical Reading, and writing. This test is very critical for juniors and seniors wanting to go to college. Students worry about whether the score they will receive is good enough, or if they will have to take the test once more. Those four hours in the testing room are filled with lots of pressure, because each section is timed. Many students say this test is very challenging and others say it is quite easy. It all depends on how well you have been doing in your math and English classes. It also depends on how well you are able to work with a time limit.

It is very important to be at the testing center before 7:45 a.m. If you are not on time, you will not be allowed to take the test. You also need to have your admission ticket and a valid identification card. It is not fair when almost everyone is on time and there is one or two people who are late and are allowed to take the test. Everyone is held back from starting the test on time.

In order to have a good SAT score you need to study on your own. There is no possible way to get a good score without studying. By 2016 the SAT will go through some changes. One of the major changes is that there will be no penalty for wrong answers. This is something that is unfair for people who have taken the SAT prior to this change and had to lose one-fourth of a point for every wrong answer.
