PAM awards are up for grabs

Voting for the upcoming PAM awards are now open. The poll can be found under the links from the Hollywood High School website. The 2014 Voting Nominations are open until 4 o’clock on Wednesday May 21. To be able to vote one must type their Student ID.

The PAM Awards are separated into different categories, this year has 23 of them. The three main categories are dance, theater, and choir. These awards are a tradition for the performing arts students. However, there are some students from other SLC’s being nominated also. SAS students, Alleanna Torres and Wolf Woodcock have been nominated this year.

Even though it is for PAM students, anyone can participate in the voting as long as they type their Student ID. “I am so amazed that I got nominated in two different categories, one for best actress in supporting role and one for most improved female singer” said Angelita Sanchez, Sas student. “I just hope I get to win at least one.”

The ceremony is scheduled to be on Tuesday May 27 in the school’s auditorium.
