New to Xbox’s Games for Gold

Dust: An Elysian Tail was initially released on Aug. 15, 2012, for Xbox Live Arcade. As of May 1, 2014 it was released to be a part of Xbox’s Games for Gold.

Games for Gold is a rewards program Xbox has released to reward their Gold Membership members on Xbox Live by giving away two video games each month. This month’s games are Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saint’s Row: The Third. Dust will be available for digital download from May 1st until May 15th and Saint’s Row from May 16th to May 31st.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is a 2D side-scrolling, action role-playing video game that was developed by Humble Hearts and designed by Dean Dodrill. The game is centered around the protagonist, Dust, and his friend, Fidget, which are on a quest to figure out what is happening in the fictional world of Falana, which has been inhabited by dangerous monsters.

The game is an action packed game that has many quests and adventures for the player to go on and discover what mysteries and rewards await them. There is no shortage of monsters to defeat and mysteries to discover.
