Boy’s Soccer stands at an overall record of 4-8-3 and approaches the end of their season.
Sheiks started this semester with a 3-1 victory over Edward R. Roybal Learning Center with goals from Jesse Zendejas(#6), Kevin Hernandez (#12), and Kevin Aguirre (#13).
The following game was against Belmont High School where the Sheiks ended up losing 2-1. The goal was scored by central defender Yony Chojolan Gonzalez (#15).
Boys soccer then played against rivals Helen Bernstein High School. The game concluded 1-1 with a goal from Kevin Aguirre (#13).
Sheiks then faced Miguel Contreras Learning Complex and took a tough loss, losing 5-1.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, Sheiks trained hard for their game against Felicitas & Gonzalo Mendez High School. The hard work paid off winning 3-1 with goals from Victor Olivia (#16), Kevin Hernandez (#12), and Kevin Salguero (#20).
Their upcoming game is on Mon. Jan 29 at 4:00 pm against Robert F. Kennedy Community School. That same day is also Senior Night so come out and support your boy’s soccer seniors.
