A popular class that was removed from Hollywood High is coming back as an afterschool program.

Cooking is the act of gathering some ingredients and making a flavorful dish from said ingredients. Cooks do this with many types of ordinary food such as vegetables, meats and even fruit.

“I met with a community partner and I’m happy to say that we are bringing cooking back to Hollywood High. This will be an afterschool program,” said Principal Samuel Dovlatian.

The goal of the program is to teach children and adults how to make a healthy nutritional dish using fresh meats, vegetables, and fruits side by side with professional chefs.

Those who are interested in joining the upcoming cooking program, flyers will be put all around campus throughout January. A QR code will be provided.
