The School for Advanced Studies Council will host its first kickoff event on Friday Sept. 29.
The event will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the SAS building. The purpose of events is for SAS students to get to know their peers, and enjoy eating pizza while playing several games.
“The kickoff is open to all SAS students to get to know each other, play games, and eat pizza.” said Katrin Nazarian the SAS council president. “I hope students form new friendships and even reconcile old ones.”
In order to get pizza, it is mandatory for students to RSVP using this link. The deadline to register is Thursday, September 28 at 3:33 p.m. If the form isn’t completed, participants can still attend the event to play games. Games will include several board games such as Life, Apples to Apples, Ticket to Ride, and many more.
“I hope that [the event] provides a space for all SAS students to have fun outside the classroom setting.” said Evelyn Gaspar, the SAS counselor and advisor.
