The girl softball team brought home a win on May 4 in a home game against RFK, 1-0, making it their sixth win of the season.
Their season started off losing against West Adams and Sherman Oaks but then beating their rival Bernstein 12-7.
This year the softball team has won six games, ending with a four-win streak.
“I sadly feel this is the end of our chapter. Not just mine but my teammates as well. I’m excited to get a chance to play with my girls this one last time at least before we go to playoffs but it’s definitely saddening knowing it’s this game and just like that we’re done,” said Katherine Hernandez, SAS senior.
The softball team says goodbye to:
Jackie Daniel (NMA)- #14
Amy Gutierez (NMA)- #15
Elizabeth Martinez (PAM)- #18
Katherine Hernandez (SAS)- #8
Ximena Gonzalez (PAM)- #42
Carol Alvarado (PAM)- #16
Jadeann Villanueva (PAM)- #21
