Track faces Belmont at home today

Today the Sheik track team faces the Belmont Sentinels. The 4×1 relay will open the meet which starts at 2:30 p.m. on the field.

Track  has an undefeated record, making them the favorites to be league champs for back-to-back years, if they defeat Belmont.

They will be competing in the 100 meter, the 4×4 relay, high jump, and 110m hurdles as well as many other events. 

Stars of the track team include senior Ronald Castillo, who has the third highest shot put throw in Hollywood High history, and Tre Webb, who has held the fastest 100m time for back-to-back years on the team.
