Architect named Roberto Palomba, made his way to Hollywood High School from Italy to give the students a presentation about his career on March 15 at the invitation of Italian teacher Frank Lenoci.
He showed the students photos of projects he has finished and or is working on. Palomba transformed an old abandoned place, into a new and lively home. Students were amazed by his work.
He spoke more about his career and what inspired him to become an architect.
“Traveling around the world to discover new materials to work with, as well as analyzing society and its evolution,” said Palomba.
He has not completed a project in Los Angeles, but he would like to start on one. “It would be very nice to be able to analyze this territory to inspire us and create architecture in this incredible land,” said Palomba.
He works with his wife and describes how well they work together. “A four-handed project that always arises from continuous exchange and sharing. We work through common values to create innovative projects, sharing the same political and aesthetic vision,” he said.
Most of his projects are still on the market and have become icons of the field design. “It is impossible to count how many projects we have in total today,” he said. “The more you know, the less you need.”
