As Seniors are halfway done with their final year of high school, they have been anxiously and excitedly waiting for their dream universities to either accept or reject them since March 1.
The UC system starts to release letters of notifications from UC Riverside first then from other UCs in the order of most competitive and renowned. Some UCs decide to randomly send updated statuses to seniors while most of the UCs notify the applicants at designated date and time.
“ I am very frustrated to wait for the responses,” said SAS senior Da Hoon Song. “ I picked the most competitive major for all of my schools and hopefully I will get accepted to one of them.”
Although school grades are important and effective towards college admissions, getting informed about the seniors’ eligibility for universities might matter the most for them.
But in the end, whether the universities approve them or not, Seniors will see that the hard effort and persistence they have been giving for the past four years will definitely benefit them in many different ways.
