Hollywood High School, Marshall High School, and Fairfax High School are coming together for the Community Lift event on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fairfax High School.
Students will compete in 10 events:
1. Bench Press
2. Deadlift
3. Pull-ups
4. Longest Plank
5. Burpees
6. Sit-ups
7. Tug-of-War
8. Jump Rope
9. Highest Vertical Jump
10. Hanging Bar Challenge
Local businesses are supporting the event by providing tacos, protein shakes, and other prizes. according to LACER after school program, which is putting on the event. There will also be a food drive—every can of food donated earns an extra raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes.
Students can cheer for their school, enjoy the competitions, and support the community.
